Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse is located in downtown Asheville, opposite the iconic music venue, the Orange Peel. The restaurant features a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, a large central bar, and a dog-friendly patio. Ukiah offers a casual atmosphere with a mix of indie, old school, funk, and soul music.
Designing a website for a restaurant in the food and beverage industry often involves letting the food photos speak for themselves. This approach guided our design for the new Downtown Asheville restaurant, Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse. Alongside showcasing delicious Japanese Smokehouse cuisine, we focused on creating a robust menu system that looked great and was easy to manage on the backend. We also performed on-site SEO to align with Google’s best practices and set up an analytics reporting system using Google Analytics and Google Search Console. We continue to host and manage Ukiah’s website.
